Student Scholarships
As a manufacturing leader in your industry, The Menomonee Falls Community Chamber, Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce and the Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce, would welcome your participation in the second annual Manufacturing Career Expo (MCE) being held on October 14th, 2010.
Locally hosted at Davians Banquet and Conference Center in Menomonee Falls, this event will bring together local manufacturers and high school students to raise awareness of the career opportunities available in the local manufacturing industry. With your support and in coordination with the Menomonee Falls, Hamilton and Germantown School Districts, we anticipate participation by over 300 students. Student visits from each district are scheduled from 8:00 am through 2:00 pm. A reception will be held the evening prior to the MCE to give all area manufacturers and local community leaders the opportunity to network and experience the expo as well.
A portion of the proceeds from the MCE will be dedicated to funding an Education Scholarship in each of the partcipating school districts that may be applied for by students intending to pursue a career in manufacturing. It is the hope of the MCE that one day a scholarship recipient will come full circle and establish a career with a local manufacturer. With your partnership, we can provide the opportunity to make that happen.
