DESCRIPTION:The Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce has been organizing the Christmas Parade for the Village of Germantown since 1981\, the tree lighting festivities since 2005\, and the 5k Candy Cane Run/Walk since 2009. However we cannot do so without community support.\n\n\n\nIt is with your sponsorship investment that we can add professional\, entertainment units in the parade such as the River City Christmas Brass\, Whistles on Wheels\, the Wisconsin Diamond Dancers and more.\n\n\n\nYour sponsorship investment allows us to provide professional race timing for the 5k Candy Cane Run/Walk. \n\n\n\nYour sponsorship investment allows us to offer free horse-drawn carriage rides and hot chocolate at the Christmas in the Park portion of the festival.

LOCATION:5k Candy Cane Run/Walk sponsored by Frydach Insurance starts and ends at the Germantown Police Department Visitor Lot Parade sponsored by Enviro-Safe Resource Recovery Route: Route starts at Pilgrim Road just north of Mequon Road\, traveling north on Pilgrim Road to Fond du Lac Avenue to Main Street\; west on Main Street to Park Avenue\; north on Park Avenue to end at Freistadt Road.
