DESCRIPTION:The Germantown Christmas Festival kicks-off the Holiday Season in Germantown. There are family friendly activities scheduled all day so bring your family\, friends and neighbors out to enjoy the community before the busyness of the season takes over. \n\n\n\nThe Germantown Chamber needs the support of community businesses\, organizations and residents to be able to pull together these activities for the entire Village of Germantown\, our neighbors and visitors. There are many ways to be involved and/or sponsor with many options for every budget.\n\nChristmas Festival Sponsorships\n\n\n\n5k Candy Cane Run/Walk\n\n9am registration\; 10am race start\n\nRegister at the Germantown Community Library\n\nsee separate calendar listing for more details and registration information\n\nRUN REGISTRATION FORM  OR  https://runsignup.com/Race/WI/Germantown/5kCandyCaneRunWalk\n\n\n\nAnnual Christmas Parade\n\nTheme: "Candy Land"\n\nLine-up 12:30pm\; parade start 1:30pm\n\nParade Route: starting at Pilgrim Road & Sylvan Circle (north of Mequon Road) traveling north to Fond du Lac Avenue\, onto Main Street\; travel west on Main Street to Squire Drive\; turn south onto Squire Drive ending in the Life Church parking lot.\n\nPARADE ENTRY FORM:  \n\n\n\nThe Germantown Community Library will have activities in the library from 10am-5:00pm\n\n\n\nTree Lighting Activities\n\n1:30pm-4:30pm\n\nLocated at the Germantown Community Library\n\nFeaturing: free horse-drawn carriage rides\, hot beverages & treats\, caroling\, visits with Santa as soon as he is done with the parade\, gift basket sale by Friends of the Library\, Candyland Adventure and KID IDs by the Germantown Police Department.\n\nThe actual lighting of the official Village Christmas Tree takes place about 4:15-4:30pm\n\n\n\nVOLUNTEER TO HELP ... assure your place on the NICE List!\n\nCheck out the opportunities available throughout the day at:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050a4faea72ca3fb6-germantown
