DESCRIPTION:The German Celebration of Spring opens at 5pm Friday\, May 16 with German music\, delicious food\, (including a fish fry)\, beverages\, and Gemutlichkeit. Bella Cain\, the hottest "Top 40 Country Group" will take the stage at 8pm to heat up the night. \n\n\n\nSaturday\, the celebration continues at 11am to midnight with food\, dancing\, featuring the DANK dancers\, and the ceremonial tapping of the first keg\, a Sheepshead tournament\, Pint and Puzzles tournament\, music by Ed Wagner's Lustige Blaskapelle\, Bierman\, and The Toys who will perform at 8pm. \n\n\n\nOn Sunday\, from Noon to 8pm\, enjoy dancing by the Pommersche Tanzdeel Freis-tadt Dancers and music by Edelweiss and the Kenny Brandt Band. Maifest is sponsored by the Deutschstadt Heritage Foundation\, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
