DESCRIPTION:The Washington County Natural Resources Department is hosting an Explore Our Parks event on Sunday\, May 21\, 2023\, at\n\nLeonard J. Yahr County Park\, 7999 Orchard Valley Rd\, West Bend.\n\nThis event will be held 11:00 am   3:00 pm and includes the following activities for families of all ages:\n\n  Trail Trot   half mile run/walk (Noon start time at Shelter #3) - Ages 6 and under with parent\n\n  Kayak & Canoe Rentals by PaddleBreak (additional cost)\n\n  Riveredge Nature Center education booth\n\n  YMCA activity\n\n  Rock painting\n\n  Scavenger hunt\n\n  Beverages sold by 1840 Brewing Company LLC\n\n  Food sold by Bilda's Friess Lake Pub\n\nRun\, walk or explore your way through the trails at Leonard J. Yahr County Park! This short\, half-mile course takes you from Shelter #3 through the hiking trails to the finish line. Prizes will be awarded along with a fun photo opportunity. Great for all fitness levels and ages. The race starts promptly at Noon by Shelter #3. Come out to Leonard J. Yahr County Park for this family fun event! There are activities for kids of all ages to enjoy. An annual park pass or daily park fee will be required for entry.
