DESCRIPTION:All organizers of temporary events must report details about the event\, including all participating vendors\, to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue within ten days after the conclusion of the event.\n\n \n\nTemporary events include:\n\n \n\n	\n		\n			     Craft shows\n\n			     Flea markets\n\n			     Farmers markets\n\n			     Gun shows\n\n			     Coin shows\n\n			     Swap meets\n			     Roadside stands\n\n			     Fairs\n\n			     Carnivals\n\n			     Art festivals\n\n			     Fundraising events\n\n			     Trade shows\n		\n	\n\n \n\nTemporary event organizers must use Form S-240 (R 6-22)\, Wisconsin Temporary Event Report\, to report event and vendor information.\n\n \n\nDOR is offering webinars for event organizers. The webinars will explain reporting obligations and how to complete Form S-240. In 2022\, DOR redesigned Form S-240 and retired the alternative reporting spreadsheet\, so we encourage event organizers to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the new form.
