Memorial Day at the Veteran's Memorial

The start time for the ceremony at the Memorial is 11am. The Veterans Memorial is located at the corner of Park Avenue and Freistadt Road, Germantown, WI.

We will have some ceramic poppies again this year.  We have an ongoing relationship with the Germantown High School Art Department.  The ceramics teacher, Ann Bauer de Ruiz, whose father is a Vietnam Veteran approached us three years ago about a project that she had.  Each year her students make ceramic poppies and on Memorial Day we receive 100 of them to give to Veterans and Veterans' families after the Memorial Day ceremony.

We also have taken some of the ceramic poppies down to the War Memorial in Milwaukee to put around their Field of Flags.
