SUMMER READING CHALLENGE AND SUMMER ACTIVITIES AT GERMANTOWN COMMUNITY LIBRARY
(Germantown, Wisconsin) The Germantown Community Library invites readers of all ages to become “Timeline Travelers” this summer! The summer reading challenge begins on Monday, June 8 and runs through Saturday, August 8.
Kids ages 0-12 and teens ages 13-17 will receive a reading log and can win prizes and coupons to local businesses all summer long. Adults can also read to win! The last day to turn in reading logs in Saturday, August 8. The library will host a variety of programs for kids, teens and adults June through August. Programs include performers, storytimes, themed programs, book groups and adult speakers. All programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required for some events.
In addition to the programs in the library, our Enchanted Library will be out and about again this summer. There are multiple stops scheduled in Germantown, Jackson and Richfield with books, movies and activities for all. Our community engagement department will be at multiple community events throughout the summer including Richfield Farmers Market, Independence Day activities, Taste of Germantown and NAC Night.
