WCHS holds MEGA Rummage Sale to benefit pets facing health barriers.

Washington County Humane Society will put on its 15th annual MEGA Rummage Sale fundraiser to benefit the Emergency Animal Medical Fund, which provides a wide range of health and wellness resources to pets in great need. To date, over $500,000 has been raised to strengthen the fund.

MEGA Rummage Sale is often considered the largest resale event in the county, drawing over 4,500 shoppers in 2024. The entirety of the 30,000+ square foot Ziegler Family Expo Center is filled with neatly-organized and fairly-priced used goods. Sale items include kitchen and bath products, clothing, artwork, pet supplies, hardware, and much more. Hundreds of staff and volunteer hours are spent collecting donated items, sorting by type, and pricing to sell. The three-day event also offers food sold by the Washington County 4-H Club and a DJ playing music during shopping hours.

Donated items are vital to the event’s success. Item collection begins Tuesday, May 20th through Sunday, May 25th at the Zielger Family Expo Center main entrance. Donation hours are 8:30am–7pm.

MEGA Rummage Sale will be held Friday, May 30th through Sunday, June 1st at Washington County Fair Park & Conference Center (3000 Hwy PV, West Bend, WI 53095).
