  • We share a common ambition for sustained prosperity in our community, built on mutually-beneficial business relationships, collaboration, and entrepreneurship. We are proud of our business community and are proud to serve our members. It is the Chamber's mission to Advance the Success and Well-being of our Members. We help members promote their business through networking, advertising, and sponsorships.  We help make personal connections with other business leaders, influencers, and community residents.  We help you grow and develop productive networks through local events, marketing, fund-raising, and leveraging valuable resources available to our members such as SCORE, UW-Extension, Economic Development/Washington County, Wisconsin Safety Council, and so much more.

  • Chamber Fun Facts

When our chamber first started a postage stamp cost .18 cents, Raiders of the Lost Ark and On Golden Pond were the top movies, Ronald Regan was President, Prince Charles married Lady Diana, IBM released its first PC, MTV was launched, and Let’s Get Physical by Olivia Newton-John was the #1 music hit!  Leaders in the Germantown business community felt local businesses were struggling due to a general lack of awareness.  In the summer of 1981, the Germantown Chamber of Commerce was formed to help promote the community and businesses in the area, with a total of 30 members.  The Marine Bank,(currently Chase Bank) located on Pilgrim & Mequon Road granted space to the Chamber in their lower level - which is still the office of the Germantown Chamber today.  In November of 1981, the famous Germantown Christmas parade was created by members of the Chamber, and today the Christmas parade has grown into a grand festival.  As one of Wisconsin’s fastest growing communities, the Germantown Chamber continues to keep pace with the dynamic world of business by helping business leaders connect and collaborate.
