• Nomination reasons must be focused on things accomplished in the prior year (2025)
• Has demonstrated a recent contribution of time, gifts, and/or resources in a project that benefits the village
• Has been involved in community organizations and volunteering in the community
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and active involvement in community activities

Business of the Year

• Nomination reasons must be focused on things accomplished in the prior year (2025)
• Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce membership required
• Candidate may have experienced recent physical expansion of business and jobs generating a positive impact on local economy
• Recently renovated or redeveloped their building or property
• May have received industry award or recognition
• May be recognized for exceptional service or management practices
• Has demonstrated support of Chamber/community projects or activities
• Gives back or donates to the citizens, community and organizations of Germantown
• May have impacted quality of life in Germantown
• Shows support of other Chamber members
