The Germantown Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee is part of the Chamber’s organizational structure. The mission is to welcome businesses, unify the community and create possibilities. The Ambassadors serve the Chamber through goodwill representation at Chamber sponsored events, membership recruitment and assistance with Chamber activities.

Benefits
- Ambassadors who agree to host a new attendee at What’s the Buzz business networking are not required to pay the admission.
- Ambassadors who invite and host a new attendee at a WIN meeting and agree to represent the Chamber in their 30 second commercial are not required to pay the admission.
- Ambassadors are an important part of a business’s Ribbon Cutting, which may be one of the few times key management or ownership will be available for networking.
- Ambassadors meet and network with various members at the monthly Ambassador meetings.
- Ambassadors get to form important and possibly long relationships with valuable members of the Chamber and the Community.
Expectations
Ambassadors are expected to attend to the best of their ability
- Monthly meetings
- Ribbon Cuttings, Open Houses, Business after Hours, Kick-off Social, Community Awards, Golf Outing, Christmas Festival
Ambassadors should feel comfortable recruiting new businesses for the Chamber. Which includes welcoming a new business to the community and introducing yourself as a local business and Ambassador, inviting new or veteran chamber members to an Ambassador meeting, inviting members/non-members to a networking event, being knowledgeable about an upcoming event or referring any inquiries to the Chamber office.
