Crazy For You presented by Germantown...Description
Germantown High School presents Crazy For You, a Gershwin musical comedy. Over 60 high school students comprise the cast, crew and orchestra lead by Director Heidi Salter, Music and Tech Director Jonathan Brooks, Choreographer Stephanie Staszak, Costume Designer Lynn Leider and Orchestra Director Ben Perthel. The directors chose this particular musical in order to expose the students to this beautiful Gershwin score, challenge them with a significant amount of dancing, including tap dance, and engage them with a sufficient amount of stage combat. All of this is guaranteed to excite audiences and provide for a well entertaining evening of theatre for all ages in the Germantown community.
This Gershwin extravaganza is filled with song, dance and Ken Ludwig's hilarious dialogue. The audience will be swept up in an artfully constructed tale of boy meeting girl in the Wild West, where they spread goodness and ultimately fall in love.
