Kissel STEM Klub: Newton's Laws of (mini) Golf

Description

All sessions will be held virtually via Zoom. Workshops are open to students in 3rd-5th grade. Build a mini golf course and learn about physics along the way! This workshop includes a mini-lesson on physics and takes you through the engineering process to build your mini-golf course! Your registration includes a golf ball to use on your course. Kits must be picked up at The Tower Heritage Center. Materials you will want to collect to build your course could include but are not limited to: -cardboard -plastic cups -tape -pencil -utility knife (use with adult supervision) -staple gun (use with adult supervision) -ruler/straight edge -glue -old yoga mats or carpet remnants -boxes -pool noodles -carboard tubes (think toilet paper, paper towel, wrapping paper, etc.)
