As part of the Working for Wisconsin: 2020 Vision Project, Governor Walker will be holding a listening session.
This will be a unique opportunity for you to voice your thoughts on economic development priorities directly to the Governor. Real testimony from real business leaders will make a difference in helping to ensure that the priorities of Washington County businesses are considered in the shaping of his strategies.
First off, the Governor’s staff would like to have direct contact with those who are interested as they are seeking to ensure there are multiple stakeholder groups and have a VERY BRIEF survey they are sending out to participants in advance of the session.
For each listening session, they are looking for business leaders and other area stakeholders, including small business owners, veterans, nurses, moms and dads, insurance agents, tavern owners, pastors, welders and machinists, etc. to be in attendance. They try to have between 30 – 40 attendees for each session.
