Chamber Members Get Chance to Cut Ribbon in Germantown
Germantown, WI: Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its first ever Ribbon Cutting Extravaganza on Thursday, July 10. Multiple home-based businesses and nonprofits will get a chance to cut a ribbon for the first time, all on a single day.

For many businesses in Germantown that have joined the Chamber, they do not have an official business location or do not have a business location that is open to the public. This event is meant to remedy the fact that many of these businesses do not have a chance to host an official ribbon cutting event. As such, multiple businesses are scheduled to participate on July 10:

9:00AM - Germantown Community Scholarship Fund
    9:30AM - WDL of Wisconsin
    10:00AM - The Pallet Guy
    11:00AM - Seniors Helping Seniors
    3:00PM - Friends of Germantown K9

“So many people work out of their home, have a home-based business or are a non-profit…. Why should they be denied a fun opportunity at a ribbon cutting to promote their business or organization? Especially given so much that they provide to the community.  We hope to have more of these opportunities in the future for our other Chamber businesses and non-profits that fit this profile”, said Joletta Kerpan, the Executive Director at the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce.

The public is encouraged to come and celebrate these businesses and get a chance to meet and network with local Germantown business owners and non-profits. The Germantown Chamber is set to provide the ribbon, scissors, and backdrop of the chamber office, and the Chamber’s Board Room will be open with light snacks and drinks that day.  Schedule is subject to change; updates will be located at https://www.germantownchamber.org/events/details/ribbon-cutting-extravaganza-9649

This event aligns with the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce’s values of community and connection to resources.
