Civil War Veterans Monument Dedication Ceremony

WEST BEND, WIS. – All are welcome to attend a short monument dedication ceremony on
Sunday, September 27, 2026, to honor the services of Civil War Veterans Adam Arnold, Paul
Bast, August Boeker, Charles Dallmann, Peter Dix, Melcher Greulich, Georg Henrich, David
Klumb, John Poehlman and Peter Rheingans. Services that include Color Guard and 3 Round
Volley will take place at 1:00pm at Our Saviours Christ Cemetery located at W188N12588
Maple Road, Germantown WI 53022.
 
The presented monument will ensure that our Civil War Veterans are never forgotten, even if
the grave markers or headstones marking their final resting places deteriorate over time and
become illegible.
