Fourth of July Parade Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday

Germantown, WI: The Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to be hosting for the first year the community’s beloved 4th of July Parade! The parade’s presenting sponsor is Enviro-Safe Resource Recovery and will be held Saturday, July 4th starting at 11am.

This annual hometown tradition brings together residents, families, local businesses and community organizations in celebration of Independence Day. The parade route will begin on Pilgrim Road just north of Mequon Road and will weave into the heart of Germantown’s Main Street corridor ending at Firemen’s Park.

“The 4th of July Parade is one of Germantown’s most celebrated events,” said Joletta Kerpan, Executive Director of the Germantown Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to kick off the 4th of July festivities with the parade and bring the community together for a fun, patriotic celebration that highlights the spirit and pride of Germantown and our country.”

Registration to be in the parade is now open until Wednesday, June 24th. Parade sponsorships are also available including the “Let Freedom Ring”, “Red, White & Blue”, or “Star Spangled” sponsorship.  All sponsor levels include different parade benefits including visibility on the volunteer T-shirts. To participate or sponsor the parade, you can register at www.germantownchamber.org.

Following the parade, residents and friends are encouraged to continue the celebration at Firemen’s Park with activities hosted by the Village of Germantown ending the day with a vibrant display of fireworks.

Parade Volunteers including High Schoolers, families, adults and businesses/organizations are always needed and appreciated to help the Chamber put forth a great event. To volunteer, visit germantownchamber.org/volunteering and those registered by June 22 get a free volunteer t-shirt.
