Assistant Machine Operator
- Assist in set-up of equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
- Inspect before and after running to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before next run.
- Minimize material sheet, label, ink and adhesive waste.
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
- Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
- Perform continuous quality control: select material at random to check size, material, print and glue.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior laminating or experience working with adhesives a plus.
- Strong ability to read a ruler and understand fractions.
- Corrugated industry experience preferred.
- Previous mechanical or manufacturing experience preferred.
